Workspace GitHub connection
Step 1: Workspace GitHub connection
A workspace owner or admin must authorise Lovable to access your GitHub account or organisation.
- 1.Open Workspace settings → Git → GitHub → Add connection.
- 2.Install the Lovable GitHub app for the account or organisation that should own the repository.
- 3.Return here and mark this step complete when the connection is shown in the workspace.
Step 2: Project repository linked
Connect this DeliveryIQ project to a GitHub repository. Lovable creates a new private repo.
- 1.Open this project in the Lovable editor.
- 2.Click the Plus (+) menu in the chat input → GitHub → Connect project.
- 3.Select the connected workspace account and click Connect to create the repository.
Step 3: Two-way sync active
Confirm changes are flowing in both directions between Lovable and GitHub.
- 1.Make a small change in the Lovable editor and publish it.
- 2.Check the target repository on GitHub for a matching commit.
- 3.Push a trivial README change to the repo and confirm it appears in Lovable.
The project-level Connect project option only appears after a workspace owner or admin has created the workspace-level GitHub connection. Without it, the repo creation button is hidden.
If you do not see the workspace option, ask a workspace owner to add the connection, or check that you are in the correct workspace.
